As a community foundation, certified in compliance with national standards, we have a unique role to play in the future of Ventura County. This includes:

Effective grantmaker focusing on the needs of the community and local nonprofits.

In furthering its mission, the work of VCCF also includes:

The Resource Center for Nonprofit Management.
The Martin V. and Martha K. Smith Foundation, a support organization.
The Civic Alliance for Ventura County, a VCCF initiative of civic leadership dedicated to the 3Es (environment, economy and social equity). Support for the work of the Community Foundation takes many different forms, each contributing the capital to be put to work for the future health of Ventura County.
