Tackle Community Priorities
Annual Support
Join VCCF
to build community.
Working together is
a choice to nurture
hope in uncertain
times.
Annual contributions to the Associates
result in a double investment. Half of
all unrestricted gifts go toward the
Foundation’s annual operating budget
supporting staff, programs and facilities.
The other half is invested in the administrative
endowment, to sustain our work in
future years.
VCCF has been a catalyst for leadership
development among our County’s many
nonprofits, providing training to enable
each to reach their respective goals. Today
much of this important work is conducted
through the Resource Center for Nonprofit
Management.
Annual Gifts of $1,000 or more include
membership in VCCF’s Century Circle
Gifts can be made to VCCF in your name,
in memory of someone close to you, to
honor a family occasion or to support a
favorite cause.
We invite you to join VCCF as an Associate
and provide annual support to sustain our
programs.
Ventura County is growing and changing,
and VCCF is adjusting to meet those needs
and expand its support and its donors and
programs through:
- Staff to accommodate a four-fold
increase in scholarship budgets.
- Dedicated donor relations and finance staff to process over 2,500 gifts annually.
- Responding to county priorities
like the Mental Health Initiative, the
Latino Literacy Initiative and expanding the Community Response Fund and grantmaking.
- Expanding the website to be more informative and useful.
- Developing outreach to new donors,
and addressing new community priorities - like nursing and the importance of the arts.
- Sustaining ongoing efforts to expand
the work of Destino, Women’s Legacy Fund, Heritage Fund and other VCCF programs.
- Expanding dialogue between funders, donors and nonprofits.
- Expanding donor advised funds to serve the needs of local nonprofits.
- Building community leadership through initiatives like the Ventura County Civic Alliance.
