Robert Cabral
CSUCI, Oxnard College

Robert has over 20 years in banking and finance management, most recently with Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. He is a full time Business faculty at Oxnard College where he teaches courses in Accounting, Management, and Marketing. He also lectures in Accounting at CSU Channel Islands in the Business & Economics Department. Robert has published articles in organizational behavior, leadership, and employee diversity in the banking industry and has been a reviewer for management journals. Robert earned a Bachelors of Arts in Business Economics at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a Masters in Organizational Management from Antioch University. He attends the Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship where he is completing a doctoral degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Finance. He is a multiple recipient of the Santa Barbara Bank & Trusts David Spainhour award for leadership and mentoring.

Robert’s professional affiliations and community activities include board member of UCSB’s Alumni Association, the National Association of Hispanic MBA’s, the Destino Vision Committee, the CSU Channel Islands Alumni & Friends, he is a Rotarian, and former Chairman of the Board for the Thousand Oaks –Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce. Robert is a graduate of the Ventura County Leadership Academy and Leadership Conejo. In 2006, Robert was recognized and awarded “Man of the Year” from the Thousand Oaks – Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce.
