Student Profile
Graduating high school senior or high school graduate from any high school in Ventura County enrolling or enrolled in an accredited vocational school, community college, or 4-year college or university.

Other Special Requirements
Applicants MUST demonstrate financial need and fit at least one of these criteria listed in priority order: First Priority to Prior Year Orfalea award recipients, then (1) completed Montana Yellowstone Expeditions program;(2) is a single parent; (3) has a documented learning difference or is a non-traditional learner; (4) has been a ward of the court or in foster care; (5) plans a career in the Early Childhood Education field; (6) plans a career in the Teaching field; (7) is a dependent under age 24 of a single parent home; (8) demonstrates consistent employment while in school.
