Here&#8217;s how you can make a difference for those who need it most:<\/p>\n<p><b>Donate, volunteer with the Red Cross<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Those who wish to make cash donations to support Red Cross relief efforts can do so on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.org\/local\/california\/los-angeles\/ways-to-donate.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Red Cross website<\/a>\u00a0or over the phone by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.\u00a0<b>You can also text CAWILDFIRES to 90999 to make a $10 donation.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Red Cross accepts\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.org\/local\/california\/los-angeles\/volunteer.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">applications for volunteers on its website<\/a>. Volunteer work ranges from phone calls, data entry and client registration, to shelter support and supply replenishment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Donate to the Ventura County Community Foundation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Den\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vccf.org\/da\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ventura County Community Foundation<\/a>\u00a0has established the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vccf.org\/da\/donate\/\">Hill Fire\/Woolsey Fire Indsatsfond for pludselige og presserende behov<\/a>\u00a0to support the immediate needs of community nonprofit organizations serving those affected by the wildfires.<\/p>\n<p><b>Donate cash or supplies to the Humane Society of Ventura County<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Humane Society of Ventura County is open for those who have been evacuated and are in need of sanctuary for dogs, cats, horses or other domesticated animals. They said they are in need of 40-gallon horse water troughs and horse electrolytes. Supplies donations can be dropped off at the shelter at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai.<\/p>\n<p>Those who cannot bring supplies to the shelter can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/humanesocietyvc.nationbuilder.com\/donate\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">make cash donations on HSVC&#8217;s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Donate to the United Way of Greater Los Angeles<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Those wishing to support the United Way of Greater Los Angeles&#8217;s wildfire relief efforts can make a cash donation\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedwayla.org\/en\/give\/disaster-relief-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to the organization&#8217;s Disaster Relief Fund on its website<\/a>. The organization&#8217;s relief efforts focus specifically on helping homeless and low-income individuals recover after fires and other natural disasters in the area.<\/p>\n<p><b>Make a cash donation to the Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control has opened multiple shelter sites to take in animals displaced by the fires. You can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lacountyanimals.org\/give\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">make a cash donation to the Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation&#8217;s Noah&#8217;s Legacy Fund<\/a>\u00a0to support the department&#8217;s disaster relief efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Donations will be used to fund food, shelter and medical care for dogs, cats, horses and other domesticated animals sheltered during a disaster.<\/p>\n<p><b>Donate to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Den\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/supportlafd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation<\/a>\u00a0provides private funding to the Los Angeles Fire Department when the city can longer do so.<\/p>\n<p>Donations to the organization will help get equipment and supplies, training and outreach, and fund youth programs.<\/p>\n<p>The LAFD is one of many agencies assisting in the fight against the Woolsey Fire.<\/p>\n<p>You may donate by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/donate.keela.co\/los-angeles-fire-department-foundation\/default-donation-form-49\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ved at klikke her<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Support the Salvation Army Ventura Corps wildfire relief fund<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Salvation Army Ventura Corps is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/salar.my\/wildfirerelief\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">accepting cash donations to support wildfire relief efforts<\/a>.
