February 26 \u2013 March 22, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 7, 2023, the Board of Supervisors approved the County of Ventura\u2019s first grant program dedicated to supporting the arts community. This funding was expanded by the County of Ventura Board of Supervisors at their meeting on February 6, 2024 to provide services and resources to the arts and culture community to support their ongoing recovery from the pandemic\u2019s economic impact. A total of $800,000 in funding will be available through this program, making it one of the largest arts and culture specific grant programs offered by local government in Ventura County. This grant program is being administered in partnership with the Ventura County Community Foundation and the Ventura County Arts Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Ventura County-based nonprofit arts and culture organizations and independent artists are eligible to apply for this program. Funding can support general operating costs and either new or existing projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ART ORGANIZATIONS \u2013 with operating budgets of $1M or more<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art organizations with operating budgets of $1 million or more before COVID-19 can apply for grant funding up to $200,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ART ORGANIZATIONS \u2013 with operating budgets of less than $1M<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art organizations can apply for grant awards ranging from $5,000 \u2013 $30,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INDEPENDENT ARTISTS AND ARTS PROJECTS \u2013 (arts projects must have a nonprofit fiscal sponsor)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Independent Artists and Arts Projects can apply for grant awards ranging from $1,000 \u2013 $5,000, with the final award amounts determined through a competitive review process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
