Here\u2019s a look at a few of the benefit events being planned:<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal Comics:\u00a0The Easy Evil record label will present a concert for victims of the Woolsey fire and Borderline shooting at 5 p.m. Sat., Nov. 17, at the comic book store, 2333 Michael Drive, Newbury Park.Admission is $5 at the door.<\/p>\n<p>The store is also planning to raffle off a weeklong badge to the 2019 San Diego Comic Con. Books, statues and other merchandise will be sold, too. Raffle tickets are $15; proceeds will go to the Ventura County Community Foundation. Call the store at (805) 499-6197 for more information.<\/p>\n<p>Boys &amp; Girls Club of Moorpark:\u00a0The Soul Surfers, OUI\u20193 and Soul Kitchen will headline a benefit for Borderline victims from noon to 7 p.m., Sun., Nov. 18 at 200 Casey Road, Moorpark. There will be food from Smiley\u2019s Hot Dogs, El Sancho Loco Taqueria, the Raspado House and Carla\u2019s Corn. Admission is $5. Call ( 562) 338-5322 for more information.<\/p>\n<p>See Me Escape Rooms:\u00a0The escape room, 1830 Cochran St., Simi Valley, will donate all proceeds from experiences booked Tues., Nov. 20 and Wed., Nov. 21 to fire relief efforts. There will be a raffle, memorial T-shirts will be sold and food from The Habit, Farm &amp; Flame, Kona Ice and Chronic Tacos will be available. Call (805) 778-1100 or go online to\u00a0<a class=\"autohyperlink\" href=\"http:\/\/nabuwines.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nabuwines.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>REO Speedwagon:\u00a0The band, known for hits like \u201cKeep On Loving You,\u201d plans to donate proceeds from its alreadyscheduled Jan. 12 show at the Kavli Theatre in T.O. to the Ventura County Community Foundation\u2019s Conejo Valley Victims Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Just booked is a second fundraising gig at the Kavli at 7 p.m. on Jan. 13; tickets are on sale now via\u00a0<a class=\"autohyperlink\" href=\"http:\/\/ticketmaster.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ticketmaster.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>REO Speedwagon has deep local roots: singer Kevin Cronin, guitarist Dave Amato and drummer Bryan Hill all live in the Conejo Valley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe REO family\u2019s prayers are with you all,\u201d Cronin said on the group\u2019s Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>Sir, Please\u2014a band featuring Cronin\u2019s sons Shane and Josh\u2014 will open both Kavli shows.
