Community members are invited to join the Association of Fundraising Professionals Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties Chapter (AFP-SBV) National Philanthropy Day (NPD) 2020 Interactive Celebration, to be held virtually, 3:30-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19.
The event is presented by Santa Barbara Foundation and Ventura County Community Foundation, and hosted by Geoff Green, CEO, Santa Barbara City College Foundation.
“Attendees will hear from the honorees, who will address timely topics impacting our communities. And they can ask questions and offer their congratulations,” said Karen Kawaguchi, AFP-SBV Board member and NPD chair.

Volunteer of the Year: Karen Allen, Creative Arts Workshop
Youth in Philanthropy: Zoomers to Boomers
Professional Fundraiser of the Year: Claudia Armann, McCune Foundation
Champions for Social Justice: Krystle Farmer Seighart and Simone Akila Ruskamp, Healing Justice Santa Barbara
Special 2020 Award: Exceptional Adaptability: Kids & Families Together
