Just a few highlights are below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We were overjoyed to receive thousands of applications from local students pursuing their higher education\/ career goals for the <strong>VCCF\u5968\u5b66\u91d1\u30d7\u30ed\u30b0\u30e9\u30e0<\/strong> (Scholarship Reception is June 6, 2019)<\/li>\n<li>Our VCCF Board of Directors approved just under <strong>$5 million in grants to our community so far this month alone<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>VCCF was selected by the State of California to be steward to $1.1 million for six counties to help achieve a complete and accurate count in the 2020 Census<\/strong>. Literally, millions and millions of dollars are at stake for the programs that help bridge gaps in our society and allow all to live in dignity. An accurate Census is vital for funding of:\n<ul>\n<li>Rural business and industry development loans<\/li>\n<li>Job training and other employment programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Healthcare for infants and children<\/li>\n<li>Childcare for low-income and working families<\/li>\n<li>Water and waste disposal systems<\/li>\n<li>Policing agencies and community-based entities working to reduce crime<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and enforcing discrimination laws under the Civil Rights Act<\/li>\n<li>Local agencies for food, healthcare, and legal services for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>More than 200 local community members attended the <strong>Ventura Land Trust\u2019s Environmental Speakers Series,<\/strong> sponsored by VCCF, to learn more about California\u2019s Year-Round Wildfire Season<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>\u30b3\u30cd\u30db\u30fb\u30d0\u30ec\u30fc\u88ab\u5bb3\u8005\u57fa\u91d1<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are profoundly grateful to Kirsti Thompson, Director of Operations of <strong>\u30ae\u30d6\u30fb\u30a2\u30f3\u30fb\u30a2\u30ef\u30fc <\/strong>California. Give An Hour continues to provide ongoing support to those impacted by the Borderline tragedy at no cost by trained, licensed trauma experts.<\/p>\n<p>Because of the tremendous outpouring of support both locally and globally, $3,618,726 in distributions will be mailed early next week to the victims\u2019 families and survivors present at the time of the Borderline tragedy. These funds are being disbursed as outlined in the Final Protocol published on the website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conejovalleyvictimsfund.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.ConejoValleyVictimsFund.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additional dollars have been pledged and we will continue to raise funds to help. The need for support for those impacted is far from over. Funds raised will be distributed periodically in accordance to the same protocol as outlined above.<\/p>\n<p>As previously discussed, we have contracted with Armanino, one of the top 25 largest independent accounting and business consulting firms in the United States, to complete an independent review of the funds raised and distributed. This report will be published on our website as soon as it is completed. Their report will confirm that 100% of funds raised went directly to those impacted and present during the tragedy and will protect the confidentiality of those involved.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u30d2\u30eb\u30fb\u30d5\u30a1\u30a4\u30a2\uff0f\u30a6\u30fc\u30eb\u30b8\u30fc\u30fb\u30d5\u30a1\u30a4\u30a2 \u7dca\u6025\u30fb\u7dca\u6025\u652f\u63f4\u6d3b\u52d5\u306e\u6700\u65b0\u60c5\u5831<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ventura County Community Foundation granted another $1,487,042.69 at this week\u2019s Board of Directors meeting, bringing the total grantmaking for Hill Fire\/ Woolsey Fire to <strong>$2,612,363.69. <\/strong>Total grants awarded include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u306b$150,000\u30c9\u30eb\u3092\u652f\u6255\u3046\u3002 <strong>\u7c73\u56fd\u8d64\u5341\u5b57\u793e\u592a\u5e73\u6d0b\u5cb8\u30fb\u30d9\u30f3\u30c1\u30e5\u30e9\u90e1\u652f\u90e8\uff08\u8d64\u5341\u5b57\u793e\uff09<\/strong> \u7dca\u6025\u5bfe\u5fdc\u8eca\u7528<\/li>\n<li>\u306b$115,000\u30c9\u30eb\u3092\u652f\u6255\u3046\u3002 <strong>\u8d64\u5341\u5b57<\/strong> \u30d9\u30f3\u30c1\u30e5\u30e9\u90e1\u5fa9\u8208\u8abf\u6574\u62c5\u5f53<\/li>\n<li>\u306b$146,250\u30c9\u30eb\u3092\u652f\u6255\u3046\u3002 <strong>\u8d64\u5341\u5b57<\/strong> <strong>KCLU\u30d1\u30d6\u30ea\u30c3\u30af\u30e9\u30b8\u30aa<\/strong> (California Lutheran University) with $20,000 to replace damaged main transmitter and supporting equipment and an additional $10,000 for matching funds for the campaign to replace equipment, which they met<\/li>\n<li>$5,000\u304b\u3089 <strong>805 \u30d8\u30eb\u30d7<\/strong> \u706b\u707d\u767a\u751f\u4e2d\u3001\u5730\u57df\u793e\u4f1a\u306b\u30aa\u30f3\u30e9\u30a4\u30f3\u30fb\u30a2\u30af\u30bb\u30b9\u3092\u63d0\u4f9b\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306e\u7dca\u6025\u5bfe\u5fdc\u3092\u652f\u63f4\u3059\u308b\u3002<\/li>\n<li>$15,000\u304b\u3089 <strong>\u30b7\u30cb\u30a2\u306e\u60a9\u307f<\/strong> <strong>\u5357\u6771\u30d9\u30f3\u30c1\u30e5\u30e9\u90e1YMCA<\/strong> with the first $445,000 going to provide individual assistance to families affected by the fires, $9,500 to cover costs associated with emergency childcare needs due to school closures, and the latest $329,100 to provide direct financial assistance for housing and other basic needs for 47 applicants; HOA fees for 16 mobile home residents; Y memberships for 25 fire-impacted families<\/li>\n<li>$1,827\u304b\u3089 <strong>\u30de\u30fc\u30af\u30fb\u30ef\u30c8\u30ea\u30f3\u30b0\u53a9\u820e<\/strong> 43\u982d\u306e\u99ac\u306e\u907f\u96e3\u3001\u98fc\u6599\u3068\u6c34\u306e\u904b\u642c\u3001\u6642\u9593\u5916\u52b4\u50cd\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3002<\/li>\n<li>\u306b$25,000\u30c9\u30eb\u3092\u652f\u6255\u3046\u3002 <strong>\u7d4c\u6e08\u958b\u767a\u5171\u540c\u4f53<\/strong> financial assistance and case management to 131 individuals and families for housing, food, household expenses and staffing to support case management<\/li>\n<li>$2,500 to <strong>LIFE Animal Rescue <\/strong>to replace fencing and lighting for the animal shelter<\/li>\n<li>$70,200 to <strong>United Policyholders<\/strong> for a fire recovery coordinator position and disaster recovery toolkit and online resource<\/li>\n<li>$20,000 to <strong>Upper Ojai Relief<\/strong> for trailer and materials expense<\/li>\n<li>$5,000\u304b\u3089 <strong>\u30ab\u30b5\u30fb\u30d1\u30b7\u30d5\u30a3\u30ab<\/strong> for evacuation expenses related to the fire<\/li>\n<li>$7,500 to <strong>Conejo Hospice <\/strong>for support groups for fire survivors<\/li>\n<li>$15,000\u304b\u3089 <strong>\u30b3\u30cd\u30db\u30d0\u30ec\u30fc\u30fb\u30b7\u30cb\u30a2\u306e\u60a9\u307f <\/strong>to provide scholarships for adult day care, meals and
