The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme has received a $25,000 grant from the Ventura County Community Foundation.

“This is a key boost to our fundraising infrastructure. Our buildings have been a second home to more than three generations of youth. That’s a lot of wear and tear on a home, and we need to ensure we can raise funds to maintain our buildings for future generations,” said Erin Antrim, chief executive officer of the youth organization.

The grant was unanimously approved by the foundation’s board of directors and is funded by the A.A. and Jeanne W. Milligan Fund.

“The club’s work is life-changing for a vulnerable population in our community, so we are happy to fulfill our donor’s wishes by making this grant,” said Vanessa Bechtel, CEO of the foundation.
