Foto: Ana Beatriz Cholo\/NPS.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>A trilha e a nova ponte foram reabertas em 13 de maio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A nova ponte \u00e9 a mais recente realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de uma longa lista de esfor\u00e7os de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de inc\u00eandios desde que o inc\u00eandio de Woolsey danificou 112 milhas de trilhos, 30 estruturas e anexos e 88 por cento do terreno do parque federal nas montanhas de Santa Monica.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOferece uma passagem segura para caminhantes, ciclistas e equ\u00eddeos, al\u00e9m de prote\u00e7\u00e3o para recursos importantes, como anf\u00edbios nativos que vivem na regi\u00e3o\u201d, afirmou o Servi\u00e7o de Parques Nacionais (NPS).<\/p>\n<p>A ponte anterior foi destru\u00edda durante o inc\u00eandio Woolsey em novembro de 2018. O percurso e a nova ponte foram reabertos em 13 de maio.<\/p>\n<p>No dia 13 de junho, o NPS comemorou com a coloca\u00e7\u00e3o de uma fita vermelha junto com algumas das pessoas que tornaram esse projeto uma realidade.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo o NPS, o financiamento do projeto de reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o da ponte vem de diversos doadores, incluindo o Santa Monica Mountains Fund, o REI, a Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF), o Fund for People in the Parks e a CORBA (Concerned Off-Road Bicyclist Association).
