I pray you\u2019re safe and well amid our local tragedy. It is difficult to comprehend the ongoing devastation that is sweeping our region, but thankfully, we live in a generous community and are working together to ease suffering and support rebuilding.<\/p>\n
Earlier this week I wrote to inform you that the VCCF contributed $477,000 to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Today, I\u2019m excited to share good news–we have identified another $200,000 to seed long-term relief and rebuilding efforts, and we have three different funds to help short-term response and longer-term recovery efforts. Please see the attached news release for complete information on those.<\/p>\n
And our latest developments from yesterday and today are more cause for hope and gratitude.
