Leia a hist\u00f3ria completa no Camarillo Acorn\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecamarilloacorn.com\/articles\/briefs-336\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s\u00edtio Web<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>KidSTREAM, an emerging children\u2019s museum, has been awarded a $30,000 grant from the Ventura County Community Foundation to renovate the community room at the former Camarillo Library site.<\/p>\n<p>Plans are to remodel the space into an interactive exhibit where children and families can participate in hands-on activities to develop a vision of what they\u2019d like to have as part of the future children\u2019s museum.<\/p>\n<p>The space and programming will focus on science, technology, reading, engineering, arts and math (STREAM).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis generous grant from VCCF will enable us to convert a small portion of the building into a preview or pop-up museum space with inspiring exhibits and activities for the community. We want them to come in and help design the children\u2019s museum,\u201d said Kristie Akl, kidSTREAM founder and board president.<\/p>\n<p>KidSTREAM aims to have the Vision Room ready to open to the public as early as this summer.
