{"id":5783,"date":"2018-11-08T16:05:54","date_gmt":"2018-11-09T00:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vccf.org\/?p=5783"},"modified":"2025-01-29T07:48:36","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T07:48:36","slug":"hundreds-line-up-to-give-blood-to-thousand-oaks-shooting-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vccf.org\/pt\/hundreds-line-up-to-give-blood-to-thousand-oaks-shooting-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"Centenas de pessoas fazem fila para dar sangue \u00e0s v\u00edtimas do tiroteio em Thousand Oaks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>Read the full story below or on the Fox 7 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox7austin.com\/news\/us-world-news\/blood-donation-thousand-oaks-shooting-victims\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s\u00edtio Web<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"dateline\">LOS ANGELES<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Hundreds of people lined the sidewalks outside a southern California high school Thursday afternoon, waiting their turn to donate blood to the victims injured a mass shooting that took place inside a nearby bar on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said the gunman, a hooded Marine combat veteran dressed in all black, opened fire during college night at the Borderline Bar &amp; Grill, a country bar in Thousand Oaks.<\/p>\n<p>A veteran Ventura County sheriff\u2019s sergeant, who was the first officer to go inside the bar amid the gunfire, was among the dead.<\/p>\n<p>The motive for the attack is under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Over 200 people lined up outside La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks on Thursday to donate blood after a mobile blood donation unit parked outside the school. It was expected to remain there until at least 2 p.m. on Thursday, and will also return on Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>You can also donate to a fund to support the victims at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vccf.org\/pt\/donate\/\">vccf.org\/donate<\/a>, which was set up by the Ventura County Community Foundation, in coordination with the city of Thousand Oaks, California Community Foundation, Conrad N.
