Webinaire de la VCCF, vendredi, 8h00 - Mise à jour sur le déboursement des fonds pour les incendies de forêt et les tragédies frontalières

Chère famille de la Ventura County Community Foundation,

With the shooting in Thousand Oaks and the Hill/Woolsey fires, Ventura County has felt under siege.

These tragic events have caused confusion, chaos and deep pain for so many. These events have also caused so many in our community and surrounding areas to step forward to help with their time, skills, funds and connections. The outpouring of support has been overwhelming and deeply meaningful. Thanks to all of you receiving this who have been part of that response – it is truly appreciated and needed in these difficult times.

Ventura County Community Foundation has been at the epicenter serving as a primary vehicle for collecting and disbursing financial donations on behalf of our public safety, first responders and sheriff’s department to support the victims and survivors of the Borderline Bar and Grill shooting and also to nonprofit organizations supporting wildfire relief and recovery efforts related to the Hill Fire and Woolsey Fire. The Ventura County Community Foundation is not taking any administrative fees on either fund so 100% of the contributions go out to those who need it most.

On Friday, November 16, 2018 at 8:00 am PST, the Ventura County Community Foundation, CLU’s Center for Nonprofit Leadership, and partners will be hosting a webinar where we will outline the plan for disbursing these community funds and for best serving our community in this time. We invite you to join this webinar and extend the invitation to your colleagues and contacts involved in support and relief efforts.
