Access to Foundation Directory Online Moves to 24-Hour Day Pass
The Foundation Directory Online (FDO) has now moved to a day-pass access. Users can now create an account following the link provided by VCCF, which can be used each time to log in. The day pass allows users access to FDO Essential remotely in a 24-hour window. After the 24 hours, the clock will show the next date on which users can activate a new pass (every 30 days). Here is a step-by-step guide to assist.
Many of our non-profit friends have used the Foundation Directory Online (FDO). Pre-pandemic, appointments were required to use our computer and subscription in person at VCCF’s offices. With the challenges of COVID-19 and the need to stay home, the team at CANDID have created a remote link, so we may continue to offer and allow our non-profit friends in the community the use of this valuable resource.
For those not familiar with FDO, it is a tool for researching foundations and finding possible funders and grants, with a wide variety of search options. We hope you enjoy researching from the comfort of your own computer!Â
