Coffee & Connections

Embracing Community, One Cup at a Time

At the Ventura County Community Foundation, we believe in the power of connection. We and our co-partners at the California Lutheran University Center for Nonprofit Leadership invite you to join us. These networking and sharing opportunities are more than just a series of events; it's a movement towards a more connected, supportive, and thriving Ventura County.

About Coffee & Connections

Coffee & Connections is designed to foster community-based, mutually beneficial relationships among local community and nonprofit professionals. Our bi-monthly virtual and in-person gatherings dive into facilitated conversations with local nonprofits and organizations, discuss challenges and successes with peers, and deepen our understanding of our community's needs.

All nonprofit professionals are welcome to join us. Help us spread the word by inviting your nonprofit peers to join Coffee & Connections. Together, we can weave a stronger fabric of support and collaboration throughout Ventura County!

Upcoming Coffee & Connections

Join us for our next Coffee & Connections on Friday, May 23 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. via Zoom! This month’s meeting brings timely insight into how shifting market dynamics are already shaping the economic landscape for nonprofits. Join us for a candid conversation with Donny LoPiccolo, CFA, AIFA®, Vice-President at Canterbury Consulting, as he breaks down the latest economic trends, the early impacts of federal policy changes, and what they mean for investment strategies and donor behavior. Bring your questions—and your coffee—for a thoughtful dialogue on how nonprofit leaders can stay informed and nimble in uncertain economic times.
