Weather Synopsis

Strongest gusts expected this morning along the elevated foothills and ridgetops, with 20-30 mph with a few isolated gusts to 35 mph. Red Flag warning remains in effect until 6 pm this evening, mainly due to the single digit humidities and sustained weak offshore flow. Relative humidities will remain down to single digits through this morning away from the immediate coast, but expecting the winds to shift onshore early this afternoon which will bring some modest relative humidity.

Quiet weather is expected into next week with temperatures hovering close to normal. Cold overnight low temperatures are expected to continue across interior sections. High pressure will build back in late next week offshore flow expected and some warming for coast and coastal valleys.
