Exciting news! This week, the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF) awarded over $1 million to local students to support college education and career training. A BIG congratulations to these hardworking students and a HUGE thank you to all of the donors that made this possible!!

Did you know that since 1993, when VCCF donors first embarked on their dream of making higher education accessible for all, almost $14 million has been awarded in scholarships?! In that first year, VCCF donors worked diligently to award 5 student scholarships. Now, 24 years later, over 100 scholarship funds have been established at VCCF, and this year, these funds generated enough to award 416 scholarships!

We are so grateful to the founding members of the VCCF Scholarship Program for their visionary leadership! This is a perfect example of the power of a community foundation. Thank you all so much!

Best,
Vanessa
