The Humane Society of Ventura County was delighted to welcome a tour group from the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF) to the shelter last week. The large group was touring several other animal welfare organizations, and HSVC was a highlight of their trip! Group members were treated to an introduction from Executive Director, Eric Knight, a full shelter tour, and of course, some animal interactions! Thank you to all who came out to learn more about HSVC!

Ventura County Community Foundation focuses on building philanthropy in our region by stewarding legacies through the careful management of charitable capital. They specialize in connecting philanthropic resources with community needs for the benefit of all, including animals! We are proud to partner with VCCF and have received thousands of dollars through their grants over the years. We are excited to continue our partnership to better serve the people and animals of our community.
